A revolutionary renovation

The restoration of the Galerie des Glaces of the Château de Versailles is without a doubt the most beautiful and impressive work of Vincent Guerre.

For three years, the mirror dealer has restored 357 antique mirrors, representing a surface of 233m². If 70% of the mirrors are originals, 48 of them had to be replaced with Vincent Guerre’s stock.

But the relation between the craftsman and the Château de Versailles did not stop there: recently he contributed to the re-creation of the intimate realm of Louis XIV for an exhibit named “The man and the King”.
